Character Description[]
Martin Seamus McFly (simply known as Marty McFly) is the main protagonist of the Back to the future trilogy and its video games adaptations. He is portrayed by Michael J. Fox, who became most reknowed for this character. 17 years old in the first movie, Marty is very close friends with Dr. Emmett Brown, an eccentric scientist. He unwillingly becomes the first human time traveller, when he accidently activates the time machine DeLorean. From this moment, he goes through several adventures in the past, where he meets his familly and changes history, sometimes for the best, sometimes for the worst. Marty is brave, calm, and cunning. Despite all the crazy situations he goes through, he always reacts with humour, in contrast to Doc's seriousness. Marty's main problem is that he lets no one call him a coward, and gets often in trouble because of his arrogance. Yet, he later learns to be more modest and to ignore insults. By 2015, Marty is destined to have married his high school girlfriend Jennifer, with whom he'll have two kids, Marlene and Marty Jr.
